The Downtown Belleville BDIA has done an excellent job in moving ahead the agenda to promote safety in the downtown core!
A camera system has been purchased and will be installed by the end of March 2011. $183,000 has been obtained by Chief Cory McMullan from the Civil Remedies Fund of the Province of Ontario and up to $70,000 has been committed by the City of Belleville for these security cameras and monitoring equipment.
The information meeting for the CCTV Video Cameras being installed in the BDIA will take place on Monday, December 13, 2010 at 2:30 in the BDIA office.
