Another great discovery!
The Village Art Studio is located upstairs at 219 Front St. in the heart of downtown Belleville. Artists meet every Thursday afternoon and possibly Saturday afternoons to draw and paint from live models.
This is a non instructional open studio for artists to do their own style of work. They provide the space and the model for a rewarding three hour afternoon experience with natural light.

ReplyDeleteI am interested in portrait and figure drawing. I work in pastels, but I am new to pastel portraits. Can you provide more information on the Thursday afternoon sessions. Also, would you know of any classes with instruction in the area? Thanks
